We love our crisps with all kinds of different spreads and dips, but we truly can’t
get enough of this bacon fig jam! This recipe calls for a prepared fig spread, so it’s
incredibly easy to put together at the last minute. It’s the perfect blend of sweet,
salty, and smoky. The little bits of bacon also add to the sticky-sweet texture. We
love this spread paired with a triple cream brie on top of our cranberry almond
crisps. Sprinkle with a handful of chopped thyme or basil for a tasty garnish.
1 cup prepared fig spread
4 oz crispy cooked bacon, crumbled
1 teaspoon leftover bacon drippings
A couple servings of triple creme brie (we love St. Andre)
1 box of Cranberry Almond Crisps
handful of chopped fresh thyme and basil
Cook off the bacon until crispy, drain the fat and set aside. Cut up the bacon into small bits.
In a small bowl, combine 1 cup of prepared fig spread with crumbled crispy-cooked bacon and 1 teaspoon of the leftover bacon drippings. stir well and serve alongside creamy brie and Cranberry Almond Crisps.
